Quality. Accountability. Collaboration.
St. Joseph’s Health Partners (SJHP) is a physician-led, clinically integrated healthcare network that collaborates on developing shared systems, infrastructure, care pathways and quality initiatives to provide high-value healthcare to patients, employers and health plans. Our network strives to be inclusive, compassionate and quality focused as we address each person’s individual needs, advancing the patient experience through exceptional care close to home.
OUR MISSION
Together, we provide comprehensive, quality healthcare that is highly compassionate, coordinated, and personalized to help individuals live healthier lives. Through collaboration and partnership, we deliver the right care, at the right time, and at the right place-resulting in better access, improved outcomes, greater efficiency and a more positive patient experience.
OUR VISION
We will be recognized as the premier healthcare partner in the region for achieving exceptional clinical performance, exemplary patient-centered experiences, and highly effective care coordination practices.
SJHP Leadership
Led by a 15-member Board of Trustees who provide leadership and oversight for the network, as well as a number of clinical and operational committees, SJHP physicians and healthcare providers share a common goal of improving health outcomes, reducing healthcare costs and enhancing the patient experience.
SJHP is physician led. Its Board of Trustees is composed of seven independent physicians, six employed physicians and two representatives of St. Joseph’s Health. This governance structure ensures that actions will only move forward if supported by the physician trustees representing the network. The high percentage of physicians on the Board also ensures that clinical and practice insights are central to all decisions.
The operating structure of SJHP clearly puts the control in the hands of the participating physicians, but it also comes with a big responsibility: the member physicians will not only hold their peers accountable for the care delivery, but also for compliance with the network’s rulings. This is easily achieved through a willingness to measure, share, disseminate, and benchmark data.
